Big Red Buses...

Forget the tube (unless you’re in a hurry). I caught my first big red double decker bus today, and it was wonderful. Not only is the view fantastic (try for a seat upstairs and up front), but you start to see how bits of London link up (the Tube makes one lose all sense of direction). From Oxford Circus we lumbered down Regent St – very pretty – down through Waterloo, past Elephant & Castle to Brixton. So easy. I’m doing this again…
